Hello again! Okay, so I just finally got done with the first week of school, and already I feel that school is driving me INSANE!

To think that on the first week of school, all you do is play some name games to get to know one another. Well, that’s not the case. At our school, the teachers lay down the rules, then promptly after, they assign homework. Not cool. So all this week I wasn’t really able to have access to the computer because I had soooo much homework to do! It angers me :( Not only the computer, but the TV. Like, on Thursday, I wanted to watch Project Runway, but my mom wouldn’t let me because I had homework to do and “Homework comes first”. BLEH. So I finally finished my homework just before the second viewing, which went on until 11 p.m., and my mom’s like, “YOU SHOULD BE IN BED!” And I was not very happy… Well, at least I already knew who was going to be eliminated so… it’s all good. Kinda.

School has it’s ups and downs… I’m glad to see all my friends again, but I’m not happy at ALL with the loads of homework I get everyday. Another good thing is the foreign exchange students. I just LOVE meeting them! Just awesome is all I have to say about that ^_^

I don’t really have much else to say, except that 1) My mom just bought a citrus press so we can have FRESH JUICE, and 2)It’s a 3-day weekend for me! Yay, totally necessary relaxation time!

Sorry for the lack of posts… I was probably either too busy, or too lazy, haha. But anyways, there isn’t much to catch up on, really, and since it’s the last day of summer, I’m going to look back on the highlights of my summer:

• I went to Florida to Universal Studios, SeaWorld, and Busch Gardens
• I went to Tennessee for a “family reunion” and met my cousin from Indonesia for the first time
• I visited a historic battlefield in Tennessee
• I saw Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
• I reread the Harry Potter series
• I saw Inglourious Basterds
• I had a few penpals

Hmm… that’s about all I can remember for the moment… it seems I haven’t been able to remember a lot lately, because I guess my brain is turning to mush from the lack of school… Ugh, which means it IS time to go back to school… AND SCHOOL STARTS TOMORROW! Gasp! I feel a bit anxious…

The weather has definitely been getting colder, which has it’s pros and cons. The good thing is, the fall fashions and the smells of the cold air. The bad thing is, I’m not used to it, and it just makes me shiver! :/ Ugh, I can’t wait until my autumn jacket arrives in the mail :)

As for the present, I’ve just been trying to get myself ready for the new school year. What’s been irritating me most is that my parents have been controlling my bedtime. Like, going to bed at 10. Not cool at ALL. I’ve been very reluctant when it comes to early bedtimes. Also, if I haven’t mentioned it before, I got a haircut, and it’s shorter than what I’m used to, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! It’s not uneven, like my last haircut, and it’s easy to manage and it’s just fun :D And then lastly, since it’s the beginning of the new school year, I want to make a few goals or something. So far it’s a work in progress, nothing much yet.

So, that’s it so far :D I’ll probably post tomorrow about my first day of school!

Oh geez, I haven’t posted for about… 5 days! O_o Oops. Hehe. Well, it’s time for an update, obviously.

Soooo… where do I begin? Well, Saturday, I went to Madison, and there was this Cornfest thing (it was my mom’s idea to go), and we weren’t there long. Why? Because there wasn’t any corn. What was there was a tiny flea market thing, a couple of hotdog stands and an empty carnival, so what was the point of staying? Anyways, Later that day was much more exciting. I went to see Inglorious Basterds. It’s a really good movie, I thought, despite the gore. :)

Sunday, didn’t do much, haha. Drove around, that’s about it. Then yesterday and today were pretty boring. Same old weekdays :p There’s only a week left of summer, and I haven’t exactly been enjoying my last week before school starts…

I’m anticipating the fall weather, because I just love wearing layers (coats, scarves, cardigans, etc.) It’s beautiful, I love it. I’m just dreaming up a wish list of things I want for the fall season… :D Ugh, I wish I had more money. I need a job :p
